Yes there are good beef and chicken fish
Yes, pretty good ...
The price is very affordable ... free vegetable tamarind ... delicious sauce
Discharge can
If the jengkol stews are really good ...
Best jengkol in town
Waited for 15 minutes just for ayam goreng. Boo...
Had dinner on the first time here and definitely won’t come back for the second time. The service really need major improvement as the waitress & cashier (especially female one) are rude, don’t have any intention to help, always on the phone, not even answering when we literally ask for help. Very bad experience.
Right place if yoy want to eat delicious betawi food
The taste is good, but why they called it betawi's food? Its look like Sundaness food
The most authentic betawenese food I have tried, all foods are tasty and a bit salty
Good food, good price, clean place, good for family. Pedeeess.... 👍
Ok
One of indonesian cuisine from Jakarta (betawi cuisine), like home cooking, taste so so, but the jengkol menu is not smelly, price is ok, place is hot
authentic sundanese cuisine... sayur asem is the best in town
I visited this place during weekend and try their recomended dishes which is Gabus Pucung (Snakehead fish cooked with aromatic spices) and their sayur asem. The fish was cooked to perfection and the spice mix was well balanced(not to strong). However, the price of the dishes is quite expensive for Betawi cuisine, but as we all jakarta people knew that it's quite difficult to find any restaurant that serve good betawi cuisine, this restaurant is worth a try.
I like spicy, but it was very spicy for a Japanese, proceed with a caution. The lady at the cash is friendly and speaks good English. Open air dining, no ac. A 10% service charge applies. 300m from layur transjakarta stop. Parking in front for 6-8 cars.
Sayur asem it's was really good
Betawi food but not serving soto betawi
Good original Betawi food. A lil bit pricey but the taste is ok.
From the outside, the Betawi food restaurant really tries to give impression of a Betawi traditional house concept. But it's done cheaply and poorly. Now, let's talk about food. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, recommending the gabus (snakehead fish) pucung and jambal (salted fish), with rice and sayur asam. I don't hate the fish but it's rather tasteless. The salted fish is quite spicy and nice. But what surprise me the most is it's surprisingly pricey, considering the taste and the place.
Nice food and good teste... Witj Traditional.menu.. I love it so. Muvh
One of the best traditional Betawi cuisine. Even simple dish like gabus goreng (fried snakehead) and genjer oncom are very delicious. Free refill for rice and sayur asem. The sayur asem is superb. And yes you can refill fo your heart contents. The sambal is very hot and top notch! Love it! The fried chicken dipped in sambal is extremely delicious and very very hot it burns your tongue! You really need to eat them with rice. Or else your tongue will feel a bit numb because they were mostly salty. If you are on carbohydrate diet, skip this restaurant. Downfall: the price is expensive for traditional Indonesian restaurant in Indonesia. But overall, 5 stars is the best description for the quality and quantity (free refills) of the food.
Serve in Betawi style. The taste is in average rate. So many choices in menu, but some of Betawi culinaries were not available. The prices were also in average rate (not expensive, not cheap). It is ok for variousity in culinary experience.
Good food ... very tasty.
Taste is quite ok. But not as good as other review I read.
If you are a lover of Betawi Food. Mak Dower is recommend for you
Delicious Sour soup, but no ac so quite hot place when eating.
If you look for betawiness food I recommended this place..Sayur asemmya never changed from the first..love it....
👍🏾 Delicious for lunch👍🏾 Pick package A,B,C for cheap and high quality lunch as it invludes tempe, cue fish, rice and vegetable asem soup😖 Sayur Asem is getting too spicy than before. Why? But still tasty🙏 Please decrease the spicyness of the sayur asem💸Great place to lunch for two ( 2 ) people under the price of Rp. 100,000
If you're looking for betawi's food, you're in the right place. They have 'gabus pucung' and great spicy 'sambal'.
One of my favorite Indonesian (Betawi) restaurant. I love their Cumi Asin Cablak (Sautee Salted squid with stink bean). That was so good, So usually I can't stop eating those squids with rice. HahahaAnd also their sayur asam (sweet sour veggie soup) , the soup was thick.. and bold. But the sourness not too overpower. So enjoyable.Overall dishes here was so good. Also try their Pete goreng and paru goreng. Sambal sooo spicy but enjoyable and addictive. Hahahaa love it.
Average taste.. spicy food
Nice place with best foods
Great food selection, great hospitality
The Taste Good and Fresh
Nice place for lunch with traditional venetable sour soup “sayur asem” combine with many variance of fish, meat also fermented soy bean “tempe/tahu”. You can take as much as you can for sayur asem and rice , but pricey
Ok lah . . . Edible but maybe my expectation was too high or maybe it wasnt a good day
Nice place the food was great but's so many flies But for me this place great i give 4 stars
Delicious traditional betawi food restaurant
Pete paradise 😁😁😁
u can eat traditional food @
Good food.
The food was great, if want a good "betawi" dish warung mak dower is a great place, but a price a little bit pricey, but it worth the tase though
Good
Pedessss....
Delicious local food :)
The best bandeng pecak i have ever had
Mak Dower fare is old school, no fuss, Betawi home cooking. Food that keep stomach grounded and hearts full. The food is not instagramable, they're plated as they are coming out of the wok. But that's how we know it's going to be incredible. Must haves: 1. Oncom Leunca - one of the best i've eaten. 2. Bandeng bawang goreng. 3. Sayur Asem. 4. Tutut bumbu kuning5. Gurame Pesmol. Definitely must visit if you're in the area!
Best for those who loves Betawi's food, especially spicy food. The restaurant is very wide.
Ok
Authentic casual Betawinese dishes at a very reasonable price. Sambals are great and protein options are something you won't normally find at restaurants. overall very good value for money
Standart taste of betawi food's, basicly spicy,,,
Delicious food but a little bit pricy
Lovely place to take a rest and eat some delicious food original from betawi.Large car parking with good attitude parking man.Playing Betawi's music make it feel more deep in betawi culture.betawi is not only a culture, but a living
